LG’s Lee Seung-woo is spending the summer sharpening his knives.

The Changwon LG Sakers have been traveling between Icheon and Changwon since July 30 to play practice games against college teams. The team has also invited UST and NU from the Philippines to test the skills of various players.

One of the players to watch out for in LG this season is Lee Seung-woo.

Lee joined LG with the fifth pick of the first round in the 2021 Rookie Draft and has made a strong impression since his rookie season, appearing in 41 games. He used his exceptional speed and athleticism to bring a breath of fresh air to LG on both sides of the ball. 소닉카지노

For Lee, the 2022-2023 season was an unexpected one. He was given a chance at the beginning of the season, but was later dropped from the rotation due to his weaknesses. He played 25 games in total, but only seven from the third round onward. While his team, LG, achieved great things, including punching their ticket to the playoffs for the first time in four years and finishing second in the regular season, Lee played a very small role.

As he awaits his third season in the league, Lee is spending the offseason with a vengeance.

“I have more practice games than last year. I’ve been in a position to compete since last year, and now I know what the coach’s style is. We’re trying to play different combinations in the offseason to get in line with what the coach wants,” he said.

He continued, “I think our team is basically focused on defense. I’m trying to keep up with that. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed about the lack of chances last season. I need to make up for it. Looking back, I don’t think I deserved the chances I got in my rookie season. I’m trying to stay positive and improve.”

In the end, it’s all about growth. When he can reliably implement the details that coach Cho Sang-hyun wants, the opportunity will come for Lee Seung-woo.

“I’m trying to study the details of the team defense, such as the position of the help defense according to the defensive tactics. Last year, I didn’t train much because I was in school during the off-season, but this year, I’ve been spending a lot of time in Changwon and getting a lot of help. I’m also focusing a lot on weight training.”

“My goal for the new season is to get a chance to play. “My goal for the new season is to get a chance to play,” said Lee.
