Jeonbuk Hyundai continued its upward trend and won its first two games in a row.
Jeonbuk welcomed Daegu FC to the stadium for a 1-0 victory in the 17th round of the Hana OneQ K League 1 2023 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on Sunday. The team avenged a 0-2 defeat in their first meeting this season, winning for the second consecutive time and collecting three points.
Jeonbuk acting coach Kim Doo-hyun’s pre-match plan to be wary of Sejingya and Edgar paid off. Jeonbuk constantly blocked ball possession through aggressive pressure and stood in the way of Daegu’s offense.
