OK Financial Group and Woori Card hit the trade button.
OK Financial Group announced on the 26th that it has agreed to a one-for-one trade with Woori Card, receiving outside hitter Song Hee-chae (31) from Woori Card in exchange for outside hitter Song Myung-geun (30).
Song Hee-chae was a founding member of the OK Financial Group volleyball team and played five seasons with the team from the 2013-2014 season to the 2017-2018 season. With her steady receiving, defense, and offense, Song helped the then OK Financial Group Volleyball Team win back-to-back championships in 2015 and 2016. In the 2022-2023 season with Woori Card Volleyball, she played in 31 matches and 104 sets, ranking 10th in receiving with a receiving efficiency of 36.42%, and helped the team reach the postseason with her strengths in defense and receiving.
Song Myung-geun, another founding member of the OK Financial Group Volleyball Team, played nine seasons for OK Financial Group Volleyball until the 2022-2023 season, earning MVP honors in the 2015 championship match. In the 2022-2023 season, after leaving the military, Song played in 17 matches and 53 sets, recording a 51.87% attack success rate.
OK Financial Group Volleyball and Woori Card Volleyball both feel that this trade fills a need for their teams. OK Financial Group Volleyball added stability to their team with the addition of an outside hitter. Woori Card Volleyball will be looking to upgrade their offense with the addition of Song Myung-geun.
A representative from the two clubs said, “This is a trade that fills a gap in the team, and we expect it to help us improve next season. We would like to thank the departing players for their dedication and wish them well in their new teams.” 토토사이트
